Announcing the Corbin’s Grille Blog!

We are so excited!

We opened Corbin’s Grille in 2006 with the hopes of infusing some local personality into the Layton dining scene, we wanted something casual yet memorable, delightfully delicious and above all something locals could be proud to call their very own.  Writing a blog is the perfect extension to this goal!

I personally hope that you’ll love subscribing to the blog to hear stories that will make you smile, food trivia, dining tips and maybe some behind the scenes information on what operating a restaurant is really like.  I also hope to see your thoughts and participation in the comment section of every new post, as well as your ideas, your suggestions and your favorite things about Corbin’s Grille.

    I for one am very excited about this blog. I’m an avid cook and I am very excited that you have your cooking classes up and running again! The fact that we can ask you food and cooking questions on this blog will be fun. Love your restaurant, love the food, love the personal touch you add with your emails and now this blog!

    I was tremendously impressed on my first visit to your restaurant with Milto & Cj. And the Molten Chocolate Cake… well, absolutely incredible doesn’t do it justice!!!

    I wasn’t sure where to post my favorite things about Corbin’s Grille, so I found this blog and here it is. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant–it makes you feel special to be there. I love the food–so many really delicious things to taste. I love the contests and offers for taste testing–it makes thinking about Corbin’s Grille so fun. I did have the privilege of taste testing one other time and so enjoyed meeting Jake, the chefs, staff and all the fun people who come there. I’ve come for lunch with the Davis, Morgan, Weber Municipal Clerks Association luncheon and had such a fun time–I was on a diet, but was able to stay on it by ordering a green salad, extra tomatoes and that wonderful seafood cocktail and sauce. I’d like to try some more food before I go on another diet. I am definitely available the afternoon of Friday, August 7–the later tha better if you have different time slots–if not, I’ll just take off work–it will be worth it.

    Hi!

    I am wondering if your resturant serves Gluten-free meals? I would love to try out Corbin’s Grille but I need to find out if you can provide Gluten-free meals? Also provide sugar-free dessert (that also can be made gluten-free).

    Everything on the menu sounds so yummy but sadly, I can not eat those due to allergy to Wheat, etc. (I have celiac and diabetic disease)

    Hi Mandi,
    Since we are a steakhouse we have lots of gluten free options, all of our steak and grilled fish is prepared without flour, as well as several salads. We do not offer a sugar-free dessert at this time, however, we can offer a seasonal fruit plate.
